Scandinavia is the name given to the region of Northern Europe consisting of the three kingdoms of Norway, Sweden and Denmark, bound together by common threads of history, culture and language. The waterfronts of all three capitals, Oslo, Copenhagen, and Stockholm pay homage to their Viking heritage, with ships raised from their 9th c. watery graves, as well as to the modern, cutting-edge art and design for which the region is justly famous. We will visit several museums, representing national history and modern art. It is with great pleasure that we invite you to Scandinavia to savor its art, architecture, culture, food, scenery, and hospitality this coming September.
