Begin your adventures in Aranjuez, with its magnificent water gardens—inspiration for Rodrigo’s famous concerto, and explore the medieval town of Chinchón. Wander through Murcia’s Old Town and Cathedral, and delve into Cartagena’s Roman Theatre Museum and National Museum of Underwater Archaeology. In Granada, be awed by the Alhambra Palace, Carmen de los Mártires, and the Royal Chapel. The scenic, mountain villages of the Alpujarras, along with Cordoba’s ancient mosque/cathedral and all the wonders of Seville, the great medieval Andalusian city—home to Flamenco and New World exploration, promise a rich cultural immersion.
